Weller Build

To see a different take on the same Weller model, take A Walk Through a Custom Weller.

The Weller can be built between the wheel wells of a standard car hauler, so there's no need for a custom trailer. This house can also be built in your backyard on a foundation for a stunning personal retreat, workshop, or extra room.

The Weller house plans are on sale for 50% off until the end of January! Grab yours today and build this beauty!

True. It is really a job well done. Now that we have everything in smaller version available these houses are good options for retirees and single individuals. It can work well for freelancers and others on the road for work. I think if drivers who drive state to state for living can be allowed to somehow tow these with their trailers that will be nice. They will never be home sick.

Wow! This is lovely. I love the exterior colors and all the white inside. The loft is especially beautiful. Did you custom make the window, too? Truly amazing tiny house. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Chad has done a wonderful job, including his decor. That picture of him reading tucked up in a blanket by the window says it all. I love it!

Chad:

Marsha, I placed a custom order for all of my windows. Finding someone willing to make a double-hung window with a rounded top was a little challenging. But I just kept asking around

I’m not sure I’d use that type again, though, knowing what I know now. The window just barely fit in the amount of space available in the loft, and it sits the floor of the loft. When the mattress is put in, it means that the openable portion of the window is mostly below the top of the mattress. So it ended up being not quite the best design for airflow purposes. And with my double skylights right over my pillows, it wasn’t even necessary for airflow or light.

If I were to do it over, I think I’d look for something smaller and more decorative, and I’d place it pretty high in the loft. I really like Jay Shafer’s custom cathedral windows.
